A new display curated by Dr Lyce Jankowski started in the Money Gallery on April 25th, 2017.
Coins were collected by Chinese scholars for their aesthetic quality. They illustrate the evolution of Chinese writing from the seal script to modern cursive, bearing sometimes the calligraphy of the emperor himself. This display shows a selection of Chinese coins and related paranumismatica.
