Although Hartill assigned this coin to his category: Large Copper - Distinct Calligraphy. Group 4. (“Zinc Alloy”), he notes that it has a different appearance (similar to the following group which share a round 寶). The suggested dating is based on its inclusion in the Kecho Ruishu (dated to c. 1713). The reddish colour suggests a higher copper content than the other coins of this group.
