Many of the coins and medals in the Heberden Coin Room have never been properly catalogued. We are now in the process of creating digital images and basic data for the whole collection using a smart data capture system operated by volunteers. We are making this data freely available online as it is created so that you can help us to add full descriptions. This will provide an invaluable resource for anyone interested in numismatics and will enable us to contribute effectively to international collaborative projects. We need your help to accomplish this enormous task. If you are a numismatist, a keen and knowledgeable collector of coins, paper money, tokens, jetons, or commemorative and art medals, then please send your references and request an account.
