Hartill included this specimen in his donation of Indo-Malay coin. However, as he noted for HCR 139904, it is not much different from a late Chinese Kai Yuan. In reality it probably is a Chinese product, sent to Java as a trade item during the Song period. Cf Hartill CCC, p. 105, late type, p.105.
