Note:

The cataloguer is greatly indebted to his colleague, Mr Michal Maliczowski of the Ashmolean Museum and also Herr Manfred Olding, of Osnabrück, for the information regarding this coin. Of exceptional rarity, it is possibly only the fourth known, or third if the coin sold in 1938 is the second example mentioned as belonging to a Bremen doctor in the 1878 article. Interestingly, the coin greatly resembles in design the 1/2 Reichsort issued by the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Güstrow in 1621, (Nicol, (Krause) KM# 39).
