Note:

This private issue coin type was initially described by Thierry (1988, CMV page 46, Figure 424) as a Đại Hòa Thông Bao, but later recognised (Thierry, 2002, CMVS, page 65) as a Thái Hòa Thông Bao. However its affinities are unclear given the different groupings proposed by Hartill GCC, page 146 and Thierry, CMVS, page 65. Thierry assigns this type to the 17th-18th centuries.
