The Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) existed from 1953 until 1975. This is catalogued as KM#4. The 1960 50 Su coin was minted by the Paris Mint with the French spelling Su for Xu. The coin was restruck with the correct Xu, a new date of 1963, and is cataloged as KM#6.
