Note:
Thierry (2012a, page 42, Figure 15) illustrated HCR 58874 for the first time as a diminutive unofficial coin from Northern Vietnam, with an unusual geometric style, which he dated to the 17th or 18th century. A coin with a similar geometric style of 元 was figured by Thierry (CMV, p. 52, Plate 4 , Figure 603) which Thierry had attributed to the mac at Cao Bang and dated to the 17th century. The diameter calculated by pixel count in the database application (22.8 mm) differs from that given by Thierry (22.3 mm).
