Note:
On Zeno.ru Craig Greenbaum (Zeno #150109) has provided a photograph and measurements (20.58 mm, 1.6 g) of an example of the same type of coin as HCR 58903, which is distinctive for the regular style of 寶 (therefore without ‘arms’), for the平 having oblique dashes and not dots and for the 氵shuǐ (water) radical of 治 having its lowest stroke short rather than cursively elongated. The reverse is flat. Greenbaum states that it is of bronze. It has been attributed on Zeno to the Tường Thánh / Xiang Sheng group 祥聖手 of Miura Gosen. No putative dating is currently available for this coin. As with many versions of the ‘An Phap’ and related unattributed small private issues, it might date from any time within the period c. 1540 - c. 1900.

Note:
Hartill assigns the Trị Binh Thánh Bảo coin with 氵shuǐ (water) radical of 治 with its lowest stroke short to his category: ‘Small Copper – Distinct Calligraphy. Group 2. (“Protruding bao Type”). This is equivalent to the Tường Thánh / Xiang Sheng group 祥聖手 of Miura Gosen. This group is characterized by a short leftward-pointing stroke at the base of the 貝(bei) radical of 寶 (bao). This protrusion (or “third leg”) can be seen in HCR 58903.
