Note:
Omissi and Lindholmer argue for the sharing of territory by Augusti Galerius and Licinius from 308 CE. Antioch is therefore considered here to fall under both their 'reigns' as joint senior emperors and Augusti of the eastern empire, with Maximinus as their junior Caesar administering the region. In further support of this dual assignment see T. Barnes, The New Empire of Diocletian and Constantine (London, 1982), p.197-198.
