Note that RIC VI, p.531, n.1 speculates that these fraction types should be separated in two series (295-296 and 297-298CE) on the basis that the latter alone includes officina ς for the Augusti. However, as per this cited specimen, Stępniewski identifies that officina ς exists for the Caesars too, therefore arguing that RIC VI's two series hypothesis is redundant.
