Note
This medal, cast from debris from the House of Commons which fell during the air-raid in 1941, has been set into a stone slab (also from debris which fell during the air-raid) cut into the letter 'V' (for 'Victory'). The material was supplied for the purpose of fundraising by His Majesty's Ministry of Works. Several thousand specimens were made.
