Design:

In the centre, full-length figure of Christ, bearded and nimbate, wearing tunic and himation, placing his left and right hands on the emperors' heads. Andronikos II kneeling to the right of Christ, bearded, wearing band-like bejewelled crown with prependoulia, imperial tunic (divetesion/sakkos), loros/diadema, and collar-piece. Michael IX kneeling to the left of Christ, beardless, identically dressed. Circular legend to left and right of emperors' figures. Sigla in middle left and right field
