Reverse
AVGVSTI S POR OST C, Bird's-eye view of the harbour of Ostia. At the top, pharos surmounted by statue of Neptune facing left, left hand holding a sceptre; at the bottom is a reclining figure of Tiber facing left, right hand holding a rudder, to the left a dolphin; to the lef, a crescent-shaped pier with portico of varying length, terminating with figure sacrificing at an altar and with a building; the right, a cresecent-shaped row of breakwaters or slips, sometimes terminating with a figure seated on a rock; within the central harbour, a varying number of ships (most often seven, occassionally eight or more).
